White Willow Bark (Salix Alba) has the ability to alleviate pain, reduce fevers, helps arthritis, rheumatism, diarrhea, pain, inflammation, heart disease, and delays cataract formation.Nature's Way Standardized White Willow (Salix alba) Bark is a maximum potency (15%) extract from the inner bark of the tree. The inner bark contains salicin, a key compound for the therapeutic effects. Salicin bears some structured similarity to acetylsalicylic acid (commonly refereed to as aspirin) but is synthesized and released in the body more slowly.
