Description
As an isoflavone glycoside, genistin is enzymatically split in the human gastrointestinal tract into its component parts, genistein and a glycidic molecule. Genistein is one of the main isoflavones present in the diets of certain Eastern countries, and clinical studies have shown a link between higher intake of genistein and an increase in overall health and wellness.
