Description
Used by herbalists for urinary tract infections & kidney stones in adults and renal problems in children.As a soothing diuretic, useful remedy in any irritation of the urinary system. It is used for renal problems in children and as a urinary demulcent combined with other appropriate herbs in the treatment of cystitis, urethritis and prostatitis. The diuretic action is in part due to the high concentration of potassium. French herbalists use it to thin the bile and promote bile flow, and Chinese research confirms this action. It is also believed to lower blood pressure. Herbalists often recommend cornsilk to help reduce inflammation and painful symptoms caused by urinary tract infections, cystitis, bladder stones, premenstrual syndrome and fluid retention. Helps relieve painful urination caused by enlarged prostate gland.
Ingredients
Freshly Manufactured Corn Silk in a base of Pure Vegetable Glycerine.
Recommended Use
Mix 15-20 drops of extract in a little water (spring or purified) 2-3 times daily.
