Description
Schiff Iron is formulated with chelated Iron from ferrous glycinate, which is absorbed better than inorganic iron (or ferrous sulfate) when taken with food. Iron from ferrous glycinate has a lower incidence of bloating, constipation and nausea. Iron is an important mineral for menstruating women and physically active persons.

Iron is associated with metabolic processes such as oxygen transport, mitochondrial electron transport, neurotransmitter synthesis, protein synthesis and organogenesis. Healthy levels of Iron support immune system function. Schiff Iron provides flexible absorption – more when you need it, less when you don't.

Ingredients
Other ingredients: Cellulose, coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, riboflavin, polyethylene glycol, carmine color, titanium dioxide, polysorbate 80), stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Recommended Use
As a dietary supplement, take one (1) tablet daily, with a meal.
